How are issue data synchronized?

New Revizto issues are duplicated in Autodesk. Updates to those issues in either Revizto or Autodesk will update the corresponding issue on the other platform.

Which fields are synchronized and updated?

Title, type, status, assignee, watchers, deadline, and tag fields are updated bi-directionally. Stamp, location details, and Revizto issue number are copied one-way into Autodesk for readability.

How does the app store Revizto specific information in Autodesk build?

The setup instructions ask the user to create custom fields in Autodesk to store these fields.

What information does SECONDSITE store?

The app has to store user profiles, and IDs of projects, issues, and comments to remember which data to operate on. It does not store the contents of these data beyond what is necessary to provide synchronization.

Is SECONDSITE affiliated with Revizto or Autodesk?

SECONDSITE is not officially endorsed by Revizto or Autodesk. We are currently registered with the Autodesk Developer Network for assistance with their APIs.

Why does the Autodesk custom integration warn that: “There is no way to control the permissions for this integration. The integration can act as an account administrator”?

The app requires full read/write access to read and update issue information. We do not read, write, or access any additional information other than to synchronize issues. Visit our service agreement to learn more.

What happens to the data

We only read and write data to synchronize issues You own your data We do not sell your data Visit our service agreement to learn more

Why does Autodesk require so many custom fields?

The information fields between the platforms don't align exactly. Revizto can have any number of statuses while Autodesk is limited. Additional information increases transparency and communication.

Can you automatically create the Autodesk custom fields?

Unfortunately not. If you see an Autodesk API update that permits this please let us know.

Why don’t Autodesk issues synchronize into Revizto?

Autodesk issues lack essential information for Revizto reporting so we primarily push issues from Revizto into Autodesk.

What happens if I set an assignee to a user that doesn’t exist on the other platform?

The user will be reset to the original user that exists in both platforms.
